During the Covid lockdowns, Creator Michael McQuown contacted Paul Webster, one of supporting actors about shooting new footage some 30 years after initially wrapping the film. In 2023, significant additions were shot with Paul, now in his 50’s, to complement what was shot when he was in his 20’s.

1st to use Generative A.I.

The Night Slayer is the first completed feature film to make use of cutting edge Generative Artificial Intelligence (A.I.). Dozens of shots from the 1990’s have been run through Gen-1 A.I., as well as a few select Gen-2 shots. The A.I. further adds to enhances the unique, surreal style of the film.
